Offering more usable interior space than the sedan for a more versatile lifestyles, the Turismos look sensational and the Cross Turismo’s adjustable suspension sits a bit higher for light off-roading. 12. 2022 Tesla Model S
Tesla doesn’t follow the traditional car model year in terms of its public communications, but during mid-2021 the Tesla Model S received major updates with a brand new interior, a freshened infotainment system, and an updated powertrain. The most important updates concern Tesla’s new claimed ranges for the Model S (it cracks the 400-mile barrier) and the introduction of the new, 1,080-hp Model S Plaid. The latter is the quickest, most powerful version of the Model S yet, capable of going from 0-60 in 1.98 seconds—at least in very certain circumstances—and it certainly brings the heat to cars like the Taycan Turbo S and the Lucid Air. Be warned, it now also comes with a steering yoke in place of a traditional wheel, a shift that isn’t for everybody.
